Even i feel the same About WD … The problem is with my WD Element 1 TB it stops responding suddenly then i unplug it then replug it to the USB port then i cant see the partition its being detected by device manager and in disk management too but as uninitialized and unallocated unknown partition and when i try to initialize it says "Process cant be completed due to I/O Error " i tried changing cable tried it on diffent PC’s but no luck … Any help will be much appriciated cause the data is important RMA is not the option
