I’m having issues accessing data on a brand new 3TB WD My Book, it was working fine when I plugged it in this AM, but I did a large file transfer this morning, unplugged it, plugged it back in, and now it is telling me that it needs to be formatted… does anyone know if I can recover anything or not… Thanks.
There are several kinds of Data Recovery software available. If you do a web search for Data Recovery or Partition Repair it will yield plenty of data recovery software options.
