I just got a refurb 4GB Fuze from Ebay to replace my well-used Fuze. There was no version information from the seller, but I was willing to gamble since I got it for $34 shipped. And lo and behold, not only is it in mint condition, it’s a v1.
It looks like the kind of big seller that buys by the lot, so if you want a (Rockbox-ready) v1, you might try Froobi.com. YMMV of course. But at that price it wouldn’t have been awful to get a v2 either.
