I have used a My Passport Ultra for years now and never had an issue copying, creating, editing, or deleting docs/folders on it. I just plugged it to my computer, which I’ve also used for years, and it won’t let me do anything but read. I just used it a few weeks ago on the same computer to copy my tax filings over. When I attempted to do something on it now, it popped up that it was write protected. I’m the only one who’s ever used it so I don’t know how it got that way. I didn’t change any settings.
Does anyone know why this happened and, more importantly, how to fix it? I feel like there are some folders missing, too.
