When I open the “Gallery” folder in the app from my phone and go to the “Recents” folder, the app says that no files were found, even though I have more than 3,000 photos and videos on my device. However, all other folders in the “Gallery” section, such as Picsart, Instagram, and so on, work properly and display all the media files. Please let me know how I can resolve this issue.
The device I used to access the app is an iPhone 11.

Same issue here and I’m quite sure that the files are in Iphone’s storage. Any solutions?

Do you use iCloud? Is it enabled?
Did you try the solution mentioned in the article?
Where you able to backup/copy those files?
No, I do not use iCloud. If I copy/duplicate to a new folder it works but I cannot copy 30k photos manually as there is no bulk copy option in ios.
That’s very odd and would normally indicate the photos are not native to the phone or not physically present the phone itself but is a link or sync from some other device like a computer. If the photos and videos were taken with the phone (native), there should not be an issue. Since the copy works, that’s an indication of physical files not present in the Recent Folder. Of course, taking a photo with the phone should also put it in the Recent Folder.
My suggestion would be to Contact Support with the following information:
- Make, model, OS version of the phone.
- Exact steps on how the photos were taken and added to the phone itself or how or what other device or software, app was used with the photos and videos.
- Attach examples of the raw files which will contain the file and all it’s meta data (size, GPS, type, settings, etc…)
OK I’ll contact with them thanks but before that, let me understand better. Let’s say all the photos as your article mentioned, copied or synced from somewhere and photos are not in local storage. On top of that, if I take any photo with my iphone, I would be able to see it in the recent folder under gallery. Is that correct?
Any photo taken using the native iPhone Camera app yes.
You can also HIDE files From a computer or Shared so that only native files on the phone will be seen in the Library.

Make sure the app has permission to access all your photos and that your iOS is updated. Restarting or reinstalling the app may also fix the issue.
This often happen with me too when i try to import large data at once.
You can Check App Permissions, Force-Quit and Reopen the App, Clear the App’s Cache and then Restart Your iPhone.
