I have a My Passport Ultra drive, plugged permanently to my HP Envy PC. The drive uses a WD BackUp system which works perfectly well. Everything is copied and stored well - the drive is visible; the drive opens; the recorded folders open; the drive does everything I want it to do. It was always the drive that contained the Drive History but for some time the PC claims not to recognizes the drive; it suggests that there is an unspecified error, despite there being lots of space available. The File History is stored on the C Drive, temporarily, which is not how it should be. Any thoughts on how I can get the PC to recognizes a drive that, otherwise, works perfectly? (Assume that I am technically illiterate - true, so no long words …)
