SanDisk SecureAccess V1/V2 Vault Structure (2010–2011) – Cruzer Blade & Extreme USB 3.0
Hello,
I am trying to reconstruct and open some old SanDisk SecureAccess vaults created between 2010 and 2011 on SanDisk Cruzer Blade and SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 drives.
I am looking for technical information regarding the vault structure used by:
-
SanDisk SecureAccess
-
SanDisk SecureAccess
-
Club SanDisk / early SecureAccess releases around 2010–2011
Questions:
-
What was the exact folder structure of a V1 vault?
-
Did V1 use 8-character hexadecimal
.datfilenames as encrypted containers? -
What files were mandatory for a V1 vault to open correctly (encrypted_list.txt, seed files, profile.dat, etc.)?
-
How did the structure change in V2?
-
Did V2 use 16-character hexadecimal
.datfilenames? -
Were files such as:
-
index.idx
-
vault.db
-
filexxxx.db3
-
compressed_seed.txt
-
encrypted_list.txt
part of SecureAccess, Dmailer, or both?
-
-
If an entire V1 vault was copied into a new V1 or V2 vault, would the original encrypted
.datfiles retain their filenames, effectively creating a “vault within a vault”? -
Does anyone have screenshots or directory listings from original 2010–2011 installations on:
-
SanDisk Cruzer Blade
-
SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0
-
My goal is not password recovery. I have the password. I am trying to recreate the correct file structure from recovered files obtained from a USB image.
Any technical documentation, screenshots, old backups, or directory examples would be greatly appreciated. And rewarded.
Thank you.
