[SOLVED] WD Dashboard causes CPU to max at 100%

Hi all,

I have a WD_BLACK SN850X 4000GB drive, and installed the WD Dashboard software. I’ve noticed in task manager that the program causes my CPU to max out at 100%; it fills whatever amount it can take. It’s causing issues (stuttering, frame drops, etc) in games until I exit/kill the software completely.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

Solved. The status of the Game Mode seemed bugged. Once I unistalled, rebooted, reinstalled and set the Game Mode to Off, the CPU usage has gone away. All other settings were verified to be identical.
