When you set game mode to “auto”, the CPU usage is steadily rising. Once disabled the behaviour is back to normal. I can no longer observe this behaviour when game mode is set to “on”.
Dashboard version 5.0.2.3
Windows 11
…I need to mention the OS and drivers are all up to date and the issue isn’t new - I am having this issue since at least a year when Dashboard was 4.x
I am not opening a support ticket as there are many people posting the behaviour since years and I am just leaving this here so people know what to do as a workaround (turn off game mode).

Yes, I have checked the knowledgebase articles but nothing came up really helping. The forum here shows very similar topics - some of them marked as “resolved” even though they are not.
It is easily reproducible - just install the software on Windows 11, set game mode to “auto” and wait until the task manager reached 100% (Depending on your CPU, dashboard.exe will show 50%-80% of the 100%). I have this on two different systems (same OS, same software, but very different hardware down to the solid state disk).
I have not opened a support ticket as it is not specific to my setup and the workaround is good enough for me until the software is fixed - if it ever is. But I will open a ticket now and post the results here if they are any good.
