I upgraded my firmware this morning on a Clip Sport+ 16GB. I used the upgrade.hex file from here: h**ps://support-en.sandisk.com/app/answers/detailweb/a_id/46562. All went well, but the Info on my device only shows 2.24.B. In my other Clip Sport+ 16GB, the Bluetooth version is also shown. For example 2.24.B01. I tried enabling Bluetooth but it still doesn’t show. Would anyone have any insight on this? I assume that upgrade.hex file is the most recent one so I should be updated; just curious why the BT info doesn’t show.

Hi, I never imagined that download would disappear so I didn’t save the HEX file. However, I found a third-party that has it, touslesdrivers[dot]com. I tested it and everything went okay. I checked it with VirusTotal and it didn’t find any malware. It’s up to you if you want to try it. The Sandisk download might reappear; but it seems like they’re trying their best to kill off their music players, so maybe not.
Sorry, I couldn’t post a direct link to the download because this site won’t let me post hyperlinks; it keeps rejecting my post. The one above is the only one I could get to work. And as far as I can tell, there’s no way to upload an attachment here.
I just Googled the HEX file and found a link to the download there. The site is in French but it can be translated. Let me know if there’s anything I can do.

Was just going to start a new thread, as I doubt the downloads will be available ever again, as sandisk stopped making mp3 players. After couple days I wondered if I even need to update from 2.18B
But still, didn’t even find the changelog for the version I currently have, not to mention what about 2.24.
Unfortunately, I don’t know what the difference is between 2.18 and 2.24. 2.24 might have a higher Bluetooth version but I really don’t know. If you don’t use Bluetooth and everything else is functioning properly, I’d just let it be.
