This is a 256GB SSD. A friend of mine has one in his Lenova laptop. Is this a self encrypting drive? If so, can Bitlocker be enabled and yet still use hardware encryption? His laptop supposedly supports TPM, if that makes a difference.

That is an OEM drive so best to contact the host manufacturer to ensure there are no host specific changes. That said from what I can find that is not a self encrypting SSD.

Thank you, sir. I tried searching via Lenova’s website and didn’t have much luck :slight_smile: I will try again. Maybe there is a forum there.
