I plugged in my Micro SD card into my laptop (mac), it is a 256gb U3 A2 Extreme Pro Micro SD, it appears to only have 208mb on it, there is no “exfat”, it is recognized as “unknown” and when I attempt first aid on it, it fails

Just try formatting for once. Open Disk Utility on your Mac and see if the microSD card is detected there. If it is there then, you can try to erase and reformat it. Select the microSD card from the list on the left, click on the “Erase” tab, choose “ExFAT” as the format, and then click “Erase”.
