"SanDisk Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive 32GB" for "Lenovo USB Recovery Key"

We used “SanDisk Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive 32GB” to create “Lenovo Recovery USB Key” for our Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 4. Everything went well.

Actually, we forgot to Format the SanDisk USB Flash Drive to NTFS or FAT32 and nor changed the USB Flash Drive partition table to MBR if it is GPT. Not sure if it makes any difference? Not sure how to test if Recovery Key is functional or not?

Just boot your ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 from the USB drive to test it—the recovery tool automatically handles formatting and partition table.

We did the following:

1. Switched off the Laptop
2. Inserted the USB Key
3. Switched ON the Laptop and Pressed Fn/F10 Key so that the system would enter into BIOS/UEFI Menu.
But the PC didn’t enter into BIOS/UEFI and rather Login Screen came

Not sure what we are missing and if the Recovery USB Key has been created correct?
