Testing out a new Sandisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 128GB drive, and concerned with random write speeds. Testing using latest CrystalDiskMark with the default profile, in comparison an old Sandisk Ultra 32GB 3.0 drive achieves 1.32 MB/s in both random write tests. I have completed the test on 2 Separate Windows 11 Machines via both USB A 3.2 and USB C 3.2 ports. I have reformatted the drive to both ntfs and exfat with similar results. Am I right to be concerned with these results? Is this likely to indicate a faulty drive?
