I copied files onto it and also used the Sandisk Security Setup software. When I plugged the SSD back into the laptop the next day it shows me that files are present (as per size used) but in windows explorer there is nothing…
I checked and changed the view to show hidden files etc but nothing. I even formatted the SSD and retried copying files on the SSD… Same thing… WHen it is connected it copies and I can see it, but if I plug it out and plug back in everything disappears.
Am using it on windows 11. Do let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks for your reply… Sorry i didn’t update here…
I think the issue was as I was trying to copy files using a script from my laptop folder to the SSD folder…
Now I tried copying the files directly and so far it seems to be working.
First, check Disk Management to ensure the drive is working properly. If you have SanDisk Security software installed, try disabling or removing it, as it could be hiding the files. Make sure your USB drivers are up to date, and run CHKDSK to fix any errors on the drive. You can also try using a different USB port or cable to rule out connection issues.
