SanDisk Extreme 32 Gb running slow of around 30 mb/s seq. read and write?

I recently bought the flash drive from NewEgg. WHen I popped it in and ran Crystal Benchmark Seq R/W are both around 30 mb/s where advertised speed for write is up to 100 mb/s write. I tried formating to NTFS while default was at FAT32 but nothing changed. I also installed intel rapid storage and updated usb 3.0 drivers and nothing changed. Anything other suggestions for me which I should try before returning it?

I have used USB Device Tree Viewer to view the details of My USB ports and speeds. I hope this helps

“Anything other suggestions for me which I should try before returning it?”

Well since you didn’t specify what OS you were running or what type of machine you were running it on or what type of USB ports it has you’re probably better off returning it.

Windows 7 64-bit and USB 3.0 ports.

Here is the CrystalDiskMark 64-bit benchmark:

   Hi HolyKnight,

Mmm, It seems only USB 2.0 or bad pins, see: http://www.sandisk.com/products/usb/drives/extreme/?capacity=32GB
