Sandisk Extreme 240GB Benching slow

Here are my specs

  • Windows 7 pro
  • Intel i5-2500K (overclocked to 4.0)
  • 8 GB 1333 MHz Ram
  • Gigabyte P67-UD4-B3 motherboard BIOS version F8
  • Bios is set to AHCI mode

“read is OK” but why “write” is so low?

Whats wrong? Is it hardware or software issue?

I think that board uses a Marvell SATA chipset. There are performance issues with Marvell SATA chipsets. If your SATA 6.0Gb ports are using a Marvell SATA chipset that is as fast as it is going to get.

yeah gigabyte use Marwell 88SE9128…

so there is no hope for me? should i buy new motherboard? or should i contact gigabyte support…

Nothing really wrong with those results. about correct for these drives in as-ssd.

Install the Intel Rapid storage drivers (I recommend version 11.1) and you will see a small increase.
