Sandisk Edge 16GB A1 SD card

Hope this is the right forum for this. I pulled it out of a ‘dead’ tablet. Before tablet died, it showed it as D: and the tablet was running W10-32.

I popped into a W10-64 machine, and it said it needed to be formatted. I used SDCARD FORMATTER obtained from [SD Memory Card Formatter for Windows/Mac | SD Association](SD Memory Card Formatter for Windows/Mac | SD Association

SD Memory Card Formatter 5.0.1 for SD/SDHC/SDXC

The SD Memory Card Formatter formats SD Memory Card, SDHC Memory Card and SDXC Memory Card (respectively SD/SDHC/SDXC Cards) complying with the SD File System Specification created by the SD Association (SDA).

It said it successfully formatted the card. Went to look at it with Explorer and was told to:

W10 kept telling me to do that no matter what I did.

W10 Disk Management shows entire device as unallocated.

All options to allocate are grayed out. I think the card is bricked. Any help is appreciated in advance.
