I used my 8GB Cruzer to create an OS recovery flash drive for a Samsung Chromebook. After I recovered the OS the instructions indicated the flash drive would need to be reformatted. When I tried to reformat I was only able to recover 26MB; I used FAT and the default size indicated. When I viewed the flash drive using Win7/Computer Management/Disk Management I could see multiple partitions, including the 26MB after the re-format. This utility will not allow the  

Is there a way to recover the complete capacity (8GB) of the flash drive by repartitioning the drive?

google search HP disk storage format tool. Down load that and use it to format the drive. Use FAT32 as the file system and it should recover the full capacity.
