I can download the hex file to my computer but can’t find root directory  I use device manager to find Clip Jam E: but dragging hex file shows nothing i need the root directory I guess…Can’t find folders by clicking on Jam E: Drive

The SanDisk instructions for manually installing Clip Jam firmware do not include a picture of the player’s root directory.

Maybe this picture of the Clip Sport root directory will provide sufficient guidance for you?

Picture collected from this SanDisk web-link:

When I drag 1.13 to E; it shows it going into player I unplug and it says refreshing media but stays at 1.12

Easy after I finally figured it out…Had to re-format my Jam and it then updated perfectly…

Here is an easy way to stop the player from displaying the Radio mode.

Settings -> System Settings -> Customize -> Radio -> Off

(You can toggle all of the Mode settings within the Customize menu)
