I have just bought SanDisk ADAPTER for Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC from a appereantly reputable vendor to use in our NIKON D40 SLR. But…the card is rejected by the camera! The only difference I can see on the SanDisk Extreme 32GB I use presently, is that on the old card it is an ordinary SanDisk label , but on the new card the company- and type name is painted on the card front.
Can anyone help?
It’s counterfeit. Return it.
Thanks Ed, but is there any way I can verify this?

It seems to me you’ve already done that.
