After “retrieving files” to a new folder with my Passport Ultra…can I…retrieve again to their original location? Thanks

If you are on the same computer with the same operating system and folder structure, you should be able to retrieve to the original location. However if this is a new computer or new OS, the folder structure can be different and the retrieve to the original location will not work.
