Dir Sir,
Four monthsago I bought an externa WD Disk, I used it for about four months and this Friday (3/4/2020) has suddenly corrupted. I have connected it to more than five computers without exaggeration. Computers recognize the existence of the disk, but the only option they allow me to run is to remove the disk from the computer.
The store from which I bought it, informed me that, they do not have the technology to suggest me a program to recover my data from the disk or to resolve the problem and they suggested to me to contact the supplier but they don’t tell who the supplier is. Thats why i am writting to you.
Can you please help me online to have a solution in this problem? I have very important documents in this disk, related to work and is very urgent recover them.

WD are not responsible for data loss whether the drive is within it’s warranty period for replacement or not.

The only support WD will give you for data recovery is their list of approved Data Recovery Services.

Advice for the future: Very important documents for work or private use should always be backed up on another hard drive in case of hard drive failure.

Yes, i agree with joeysmyth. Any Storage device company is not responsible for lost data recovery. However, there many free data recovery tools available which you can try to recover your lost files. Recuva, Stellar Free data recovery, PhotoRec, are some example of best free data recovery tools.
