problem with Fuze & clip playback[solved]

I have used few Fuze ver2 & clip ver1 & ver 2 and I have this problem with all of them in both rockbox and original firmware , none of these players I have used have the simple ability to play between folders when all songs in a specific folder are played it well stop playing then I have to manually browse to the next folder(album) can any one help me with this problem. do all sansa players work like this or I don’t know how to use them.

The Fuze doesn’t know which of the many folders on your unit you want to play next.

You could:

  1. Make a playlist

  2. Put all the songs you want to play in one folder and navigate down Music to Folders (on 2d page)

  3. If you want to play everything by one Artist you can do that by going to Artist and choosing Play All.

so, no way to sovle it in original firmware or Rockbox ?! & does it stand for other sansa players like clip ver.1 clip ver.2

The Fuze/Clip cannot read your mind and figure out what folder you want to play next.

It can play all tracks by one Artist, and all songs or albums in alphabetical order (Play All), and it can follow a Playlist.

Otherwise,  I believe the telepathic version is due for release in 2033.

Maybe you should consider broadening your horizons and trying Rockbox too. I was just able to show the OP how to not only do  whole albums in alphabetical order, but how to shuffle random whole albums.:wink:

I had never saw such problems in any other brand even very old players I hope fuze+ isn’t sufuring from such problems.

 I can’t amagaine sansa players without rockbox ,if they didn’t soppurted rockbox I would never get one.

Of course not. You cannot compare the two. Very old players had far less features and were less complicated, technology-wise. Newer ones are crammed full of extra hardware, and much more intricate code so they will do all the things that they do.

It’s like saying, " I’ve never seen such problems with the cars today. My old one never had these problems." Technology evolution is a double-edged sword.

 I fallow lots of Brands sony ,creative,sansa,irever,archos,cowon,samsung,…

So I have to say my statement is reasonable & I can’t realy find any relationship in comparing a car with a music player.

I have never saw such thing in none of them.

new ones or old ones!
