Problem when copying files - you must to have right to make this operation

Just bought My Passport Ultra 2 Tb and tried to copy files from external pendrive to WD Passport.
Any file, any folder I try always got a message:" you must to have right to make this operation". Using Win7 Home, logged in with admin account.

Checked the same operation with two other external USB drives (Samsung) and no problems at all - all operations with files are possible.

How to solve this problem? Thanks for help/ideas!

Hello, I would set the ownership of the pendrive and the WD Passport to “Everyone”, for information on how to change the permissions take a look at the link below.

Instead of doing it at a folder level do it at a drive level and it should be fine after that.

Thanks. Your link helped partially. I.e. I was able to change ownership only of single folders on My Passport.
When tried to change ownership of whole disk I got the same message error as described in my first post. I have to admit that it seemed computer is “changing” ownership and displaying this operation on each folder. But finally no success.

I have +300 folders on My Passport so to change it piece after piece is impossible.

Still cannot copy these files to Passport. Any other ideas how to solve it?
