I backed up all my files from Win7pro 64 bit o the Passport Ultra and just got a new computer win10pro 64 bit.
I can open the files, copy to and from win7 (the orig laptop) just fine…
When I try to copy, move or open any files/folders/zips form My Passport Ultra, some of them copy over just fine…and some of them ask for administrative rights and I have no choice but to cancel the copy to the new laptop.
I have tried to change “permissions” on it…and it helps for some of them but still some of them still want admin privilege approval.
How do I remove that so i can copy my files/folders ?
I would do a laptop link from one laptop to the other but he prob is, once I saved some of the filed/folders to the Passport, I deleted them off the old laptop…So I NEED to get to those folders.
Why are there admin permissions required? I never put any security on the thing in the first place.
