i like fm, but when there are many stations - it’s difficult to navigate
so that what i mean - just scan FM frequencies, save presets, connect Clip to computer, go to the root of the Clip, open config file, where all presets are stored, and after - just add labels to every freaquency
If I understand you correctly, you are suggesting that it be possible to re-name your pre-set FM radio frequencies to the station’s call-signs, or other familiar name rather than just the numbers. For example, K101, KKSF, The Rock, WKRP in Cincinati. [I used to love that show. Dr. Johnny Fever was too cool; Herb, the salesman was too lame, and Loni Anderson was just too (.)(.)] :smileyvery-happy:
Not a bad suggestion for any of the Sansa models! Don’t know if it’s possible, but it’s not a bad idea.
When I configured the stations I missed that possibility, and I think that it would be nice to have that option. As feromon said the configuration can be done on the pc, so there’s no problem about creating a virtual keyboard in the Sansa.

Using a text format for the preset list not only allows setting it up on the PC, but you can download a preset list for some city you may travel to.
I would like to bump this up. This is so far the only feature I really miss on this otherwise fabulous player. Please, sandisk, implement this in the next firmware!
