I use the my passport pro to sync / copy footage off of SD cards in the field.
It works great in most use cases.
However when inserting a card that has footage from a sony rx100v where there are video files and images in a complicated directory structure it only copies the pictures over. This caused me to loose a whole lot of video footage.
The directory structure on the SD card looks like this and it works fine if I directly copy the SD card to my computer but the passport is ignoring the video footage.
DCIM/100MSDCF/*.jpg .arw
private/M4ROOT/CLIP/.mp4
in this case it ignores the .mp4 and of course after it does it’s copying it deletes all directories on the SD card so footage is lost.
