I hope someone has advice for me. I filled the flash drive full and now it shows that all my photos are gone. Is there any way to retrieve the photos back? I have done a data recovery. But it looks like all the files are still in the vault. They just don’t show up when I open the application. Help! it was 10 years of photos
Hi @cremaphor
Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the SD Technical Support team for best assistance and troubleshooting:

It is possible that the file system on the flash drive might be damaged, making it difficult to access files and you are not seeing it. But if that’s not the case then, you may need photo recovery software. I would recommend Stellar Photo Recovery software to recover all your photos. Read the full guide here.
If your flash drive is full but the photos are missing, start by checking for hidden files in File Explorer. Reinstall or update your data recovery software, If the issue persists, explore other file recovery software.
Most likely, the vault was corrupted when the disk became full. You should avoid adding new files and try using the recovery function. Alternatively, you can mount the vault on the original PC where it was created. Most vault programs will only fully recognize files on the original system.
Since the files are still in the vault, they’re probably just hidden. Try checking the “hidden files” folder or use a different computer to open the drive. Don’t save anything new to the drive!
It’s also possible that the file system of your SanDisk flash drive is corrupted. You can try the CHKDSK command to fix the problem. If you need more help, read thisSanDisk USB recovery guide instead.
Good luck, hope you get your pics back!
