"No Writable WD SmartWare Partition Found" on laptop

hey,

 i have a WD “my passport SE ultra portable hard drive 750gb” and for some reason the hdd loads up on the computer but when i connect the hdd to the laptop the hard drive doesnt load up anymore. does anyone know what is wrong with my hdd and how to fix it? thanks

No Writable WD SmartWare Partition Found means exactly what is written it means the drive needs to be partioned
