Hi, i’m not able to access WD My passport essential 1 TB.When i try to open the CD Drive which unlock the hard disk it says “Application not found”.In Wd Quick View it is saying “Device Discovering”.In WD smartware it is saying “No writable DVD Smartware partition formed”.Please Help.
Drive is not being detected at all…
Check on disk management and let me know what is showing
Check all the cable and make sure to connect the power adapter directly to the wall outlet
In disk management,Disk is shown as uninitialized and unKnown.When i try to initialize it,it says “The request could not be performed because of i/o device error”.Also My hard disk is making a sire type sound on connecting which stay for a while and then stop.
Disk 1 is my external hard disk.It is unknown an not initialized
