MyBook Essential - Backup from Network... Is it possible?

Good morning everybody!!

I have just updated the firmware and software of my MyBook Essential but I cannot see my nework shares in the dropdown list of the available drives/shares.  I only see my computer (C:) and MyBook.

I would like to know if it’s possible to backup a network share and if there is an special  procedure to do so.

only direct attached drives with the software

to backup network locations it’ll need to be done manually or with another software
