So i am in iraq with my harddrive and the thing stopped working with everything there is no hum to show its working no light on to show its connected no computer i plug it into works with it or shows its plugged in i dont know what has happened to it i unplug it and keep it in a safe location all the time and keep it clean i cant figure out what is wrong with it i have tried everything i can think of including getting a friends plugs and plugging them into my computer he has the exact same thing as me and his works with them any ideas what to do?

Since you mention your drive is not turning on, is there any chance you can test your drive with your friend power adapter. Just make sure both adapters have the same power specifications.
