Thanks will try. I have a 1tb elements drive that can’t be found too. All 5 of my Seagate drives work.

Hi,

Have tried this but to no avail. That is 3 external WD drives that have failed losing all my data. I have 4 external Seagate drives that have never missed a beat. My 2 internal WD Black Caviar Drives have worked perfectly for years. Is there a manufacturing problem with WD external drives?
