My passport has been working fine for ages now my media player keeps saying no storage device pressant when I plug it in yet when I put it on my computer its fine. I plugged a USB into my Media player & it came up so guessing it has to be the passport. PLEASE HELP no good with this stuff

Might be that the media player no longer providing enough power to the drive. is the media player connected to a wall outlet?

No clue what my media player is using sorry not tech savy. Its plugged into a power board in the bed room the media player works when other USB sticks and things are plugged into it just not my passport.
