My passport essential 500gb is getting copied at a speed of 1MB/sec!

Hi,

I bought my WD I year back. It worked properly for few months. After that it is getting copied at a speed of 1.2MB/sec!!!

I m completely fed up with this one.  Plz any one could help me with this…

  • Did you replace the USB cable?

  • Have you connect your drive to a different computer?

  • Have you connect your drive to a different USB port?

  • If you connect another storage device to your computer do you get the same transfer speed?
