Can anyone help me? My hard drive was connected to my friend’s laptop when I accidentally bump the wire that connects my hard drive to the laptop. We were watching a movie suddenly it stopped from playing and the program hanged. I have no choice but to force shut down/ restart the computer so it seemed like the memory of my hard drive crashed which causes it not to be read from any other computer…What should I do? Does this mean that my hard drive is not working anymore?
You can see if TestDisk http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk will fix it. The partition data is probably corrupt.

And it has some weird noise…like a clicking sound everytime I plug it on my computer. I tried doing the freezer thing that you can freeze your hard drive for 24 hours but it didn’t work 
Now what should I do?
