My passport can't be detected by my ps3! help!

I have the 300gb passport, i formatted it to fat32. still it won’t work.

Try reformatting again, also make sure that the drive is not password protected.

Not all of these drives are compatible with PS3. I also remember reading a short time ago PS3 had a new update that blocked use of  external drives. I think that drives capable of using a password may not work on them either. Check the PS3 forums they might have some other suggestions.
