I’ve had my clip for 1 year and 17 days…so I’m 17 days beyond my warranty…so I can’t get my player replaced!
On to my problem:
I was listening to a song then it hung up on me with the screen’s backlignt dimming and the light behind the navigation button being bright 27 seconds after the song started! I tried the 15-20 restart and the 30 second restart without any success! I may either have to resort to discharging/recharging the battery, prying it open, or buying a new one since as I already said I’m 17 days beyond warranty!
A failing Sansa Clip update: The words and the song time meter on the screen just faded off a while ago and the navigational button backlight is still on!
A finally working Sansa Clip Update: I just let the battery run out in it’s former condition I plugged it into AC charge and it’s now working again! So Discharge/Charge strategy worked.
The Irony: I had a few Sansa Clip scares…once I turned it off only to find it turned on later, a bunch of times it froze in the song/artist listing area (one time I did the reset the some of the other times this occured…I either backed out or waited for it to respond), and now today with what I mentioned above!
