It’s time to get a new music player. But, I have always used Apple products, in part becuase of the ease of use. I plan to buy an 8 GB Clip Zip and a 32 GB SD card, but am wondering: what is involved in setting it up to download tunes? I understand the card needs to be formatted, which I have never done (I am pretty computer illiterate). I have an old Apple G4 Powerbook. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You understand incorrectly. Memory cards come pre-formatted. People only get themselves into trouble when they try to do it again.
