Just bought a 128g imagemate pro and it isn’t showing up in the drivers device management or disk management. Using the as card adapter it came with and input into Lenovo laptop card reader.

If your SD card is not showing up in Disk Management or Device Manager, it would be caused by hardware problems, faulty USB port or SD card reader.

So first of all, please try a different SD card reader or another USB port to see if your SD card is working.

After that, if your SD card is still not showing up on your computer, the card might be physically damaged. You can do nothing but send it to a local repair center. Otherwise, replace the SD card with a new one.

If it’s not showing in Disk Management or Device Manager, maybe try a different adapter or another PC?

Could be a driver thing—or just the card acting shy.

I’d suggest you to verify status in Disk Management again.

  • Plug in the SD card.
  • Press the Windows key, type diskmgmt.msc, and press Enter.
  • Locate your SD card in the list.
  • Identify if it says “unallocated” or “uninitialized.”
  • Right-click the card to select “Initialize” or “Format” if those statuses appear.

Note that a completely missing card indicates a hardware detection issue.

How does the SD card show up in Device Manager?

  • Open Device Manager.
  • Look under “Disk drives” and “Universal Serial Bus controllers.”
  • Spot any items marked with a yellow warning triangle.
  • Right-click those flagged items and select “Update driver.”
