IOS 8 Problems??

Yep iOS 8.1.1 Didn’t fix a thing. So are Apple and Sandisk actually working on a fix for this or are they going to force everybody into this new iXpand flash drive? I feel like this is probably what Apple wants you to do so that it is more cumbersome to keep that thing plugged in to watch a movie and you will get irratated and buy a larger capacity iDevice next time. You can’t tell me that if Sandisk and Apple are actually working to fix this that they have not come up with a solution yet since we are on the 3rd itteration of iOS 8.

Reminds me of the pi$$ing match between Apple and Palm back in the day of the Palm Pre.  Palm was using an unsupported means to allow their devices to sync with iTunes, and actually advertised it as compatible.  Apple would update iTunes to break it, and Palm would make another workaround, until ultimately failing.

I take it even with the 8.1.2 update that this still is not fixed? Shame on Apple and SanDisk for not having this working yet. 2 iOS updates have come out in the last month and still no fix. This seems like it should simply be an update to Safari via the appstore.

I want some assurance from Sandisk that they are getting positive responses from Apple about fixing this. I’ve tried other browsers and nPlayer to play my movies still without success, so I’m not buying this being a safari issue. I think this is a dorm issue and apple doesn’t want these movies to be able to be played this way. But this is exactly the purpose for which I purchased this device and if it’s not going to ever work again, then I want a refund. I died laughing when I reinstalled the sandisk update and saw “Sandisk hearts iOS8”. Are you kidding me?
