The app on they iPhone X isn’t optimised for the screen, doubt ever will…
What is the latest firmware it’s hard to find details on it now.

the product has not been made in a while so I agree it will not likely be updated any further. link below has info about the last FW release and download links if you are not up to date.

I do have that firmware on already so that’s ok. Looks like the iOS app hasn’t been updated for a long time and won’t be…pity.
I’ll have to try and test on iOS11 then see if works. Hopefully does
