International Warrenty for Online Products

Hello to all

I currently reside in Singapore but I am interested in buying and shipping over a WD Passport portable drive from online US retailers (Amazon/Newegg/BestBuy). Id like to know if the products shipped are covered by international warranty and whether there is any process required to transfer warranty over the respective regions.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

Welcome to the WD Community.

If you purchase the product online through an autorize retailer and ship the unit to your country, you will need to contact the support/warranty department to update the region on that unit and the region will be updated to the requested one.
