I ordered what looks like SanDisk Plus, but the drive arrived say it is a WD Green firmware

I just received a Sandisk Plus SSD from Amazon. The packaging is good, the disk outfit is sandisk plus, but Crystallinfo tells me that it’s a crappy WD Green with WD firmware 550500!!! What is this? Do you have any idea how is possible and if it is changing something ? What is that

Thx for reponding. I contacted the support today yes and they are posting that topic knowledge about that ‘problem’ today ! ! ! Unbelielable. they compare my SN and confirm it’s the correst ssd. They said its normal without any really explication as your knowledge link. I was asking for the firware name specially of the plus 2TO. I would like to compare with mine to be sure. But they havent the list of firmware. I pretty sure I won’t be the first or the last guy asking why the disk coming is WD Green.WD Green is a category of hard drives that differs from Sandisk Plus SSDs and all others. It’s really strange to proceed this way. The simplest thing to do is to tag your drives correctly, which will avoid confusion in general. Anyway, that’s my newbie opinion. Have a nice day.
