Disconnect the drive and reconnect , let me know the exact msg your getting since I don’t see anything
besides an image and what you mention does not sound like an error from the drive.

The drive is not been recognized or you don’t have a password on the drive . Can you see the drive on Computer ?
Make sure the drive shows up in device manager and disk management.
