If you’re using BitLocker, check your BIOS or UEFI settings first. Data recovery software like Stellar, Undelete, Recuva, and so on might be an option, but it’s not guaranteed to work. As a last resort, consider contacting a professional data recovery service.

Well you can’t. That’s the whole point

If you mean that BitLocker encrypts your SanDisk SSD, try logging in to your Microsoft Account, and the BitLocker recovery keys will be stored there.

Is the drive protected with BitLocker encryption? Start by signing in to your Microsoft account to locate the 48-digit BitLocker recovery key.
You can find your BitLocker recovery key here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/find-your-bitlocker-recovery-key-6b71ad27-0b89-ea08-f143-056f5ab347d6

If it’s not available in your Microsoft account, look on your computer for a file named BitLocker Recovery Key.txt — this text file contains the 48-digit key associated with the encrypted hard drive. If you’ve deleted that TXT file by mistake, try using a data recovery program as soon as possible to restore it.

For users on a domain, the 48-digit recovery key might be stored in Active Directory (AD). In that case, reach out to your system administrator for assistance retrieving it.

I know that’s frustrating. If your SSD doesn’t show a “forgot password” or hint option, recovery can be tricky. Check if the manufacturer has a recovery tool or software — sometimes it can reset the drive (data might be lost). Also, check any emails or documents from when you set the password. If nothing works, contacting the manufacturer’s support is usually the safest way. Be careful with too many wrong attempts, as some SSDs lock permanently after several tries.
