How to remove disk is write-protected on a Sandisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD

I just purchased on Amazon a SanDisk 2TB Extreme PRO Portable SSD - Up to 2000MB/s - USB-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 - External Solid State Drive - SDSSDE81-2T00-G25.

The first time I used it, no issues, worked great. The second time, however, I tried to save some files and I received a message that the disk is write-protected. Now I can save any new files to the portable SSD, only ready the ones that are currently on it.

Can anyone help me with this? I want to be able to save and remove files again.

Thank you.

Hi @nvanslyck,

Write protection prompts to prevent data loss from a potential fault.

Please check the below-mentioned link of Write Protect Error on USB Flash Drives:

NOTE: If you are using a company computer, ensure your IT department does not block saving files to removable drives.
