I was stopped using this device for years and now wanted to use it with my Windows 10 machine but it’s not detected. I have some information store on it which secured with my fingerprint. How to re-gain access to my data through my Windows 10 machine?

I’ve been in a similar situation where an old device wasn’t detected on a newer system. First, try connecting it to a different USB port or using a different cable, as sometimes the issue can be hardware-related. If the device still isn’t recognized, EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard can be useful for accessing the data on the drive, even if it’s not properly detected. You could also try Device Manager to see if the device is listed under disk drives and update the drivers. If the fingerprint security is causing the issue, you may need to reinstall the original software that came with the device to unlock it.
