How to disable the unlock on WD Passport Drive

Hi, I tried to do this solution found here:  http://community.wd.com/t5/WD-Portable-Drives/Remove-Password-for-My-Passport-Essential-500-GB-portable-hard/m-p/403398

But for me there is no drive (except my windows PC) listed in the Settings Tab.

I want to remove the unlock because when plugging into a TV, the drive cannot be accessed. Thanks.

What’s the model number of your drive?

Depending on the drive, you should be able to remove the security from the WD Smartware software.
